Bob Smith. If you need lessons for the banjo or mandolin, this is your man. Silver haired stalwart of the local Folk scene for many years, a former member of Murphys' Lore. Contact us and we'll pass your details to him.

A Half of Murphy's 'A Half of Murphy's' consists of Noeleen and Alex performing as a duo. Noeleen plays guitar, whistle, and bodhran but is best known for her vocal abilities, drawing on her Irish heritage to sing songs learnt as a child at the knee of her accordion playing father, whilst Alex accompanies her on guitar, some backing vocals and occasionally the mandolin, having returned to his folk roots after a brief fling with rock music in his youth!

Milford on Sea Folk Club Organised by Sue Whitlock, and hosted by Jim and Bill aka 'The Goodthyme Brothers', this is a great little venue that offers acoustic music with a lovely friendly atmosphere and 'good ears'.

Sonic Violins

Sonic Violins Used by Gill and built by fiddle player Titch 'Speedy Gonzalez' Roberts. Any faster and the fiddle would spontaneously combust!!

Ticklish Allsorts Excellent children's entertainment provided by our friend and occasional caller Gary Nunn. Can be seen all over the UK at festivals and RSPB events, but is available for private parties and comes highly recommended by our son Finlay!
